CASTORE

'The focus on our partnership will be around improving the club infrastructure, facilities and coaching set up to help drive our rapid growth of Junior cricket and establish a Women’s section’: From Lords to Rake Lane

Sportswear brand, Castore’s, astronomical recent rise has positioned itself as one of the leading businesses in the market. From humble beginnings, the brand now looks to give back to the community from which it was founded, to aid the developing junior and women’s sections at New Brighton Cricket Club.

New Brighton Cricket Club is delighted to announce a partnership with world-renowned sportswear brand, Castore.

Formed on the Wirral in 2016 by the Beahon brothers, Tom and Phil, Castore sportswear has bulldozed itself into a global brand, with high profile recognition, within just six years. From Newcastle United to a recent addition in England Cricket, it may seem both surprising yet satisfying to see the ‘Premier League’ name return home to Merseyside, through New Brighton Cricket Club.

From Tom’s footballing dream at Tranmere Rovers to Phil’s talents on the cricket pitch, at New Brighton Cricket Club and Cheshire Cricket Board, both participated in the grassroots sector of their chosen sports. With this partnership, the brand, acclaimed for innovation, is offering to go beyond what many major sporting companies provide. Through aiding members of the communities in their first steps into the sport, Castore is ensuring the longevity of its roots.

Cricket Chairman Adam Neal states, ‘we are absolutely delighted to welcome Castore to our NBCC family for the next three years. As part of becoming the official kit supplier to England Cricket, Castore is giving back to grassroots cricket as part of the “Inspiring a Generation” programme’. The programme in question, launched by the ECB in 2020, lays out a five-year strategic plan intending to connect communities, current and future generations through cricket. With growth seen within the junior section of New Brighton Cricket Club in 2021, as well as plans to restart the All-Stars initiative and reform the Women’s cricket section in 2022, the club is showing proactivity in its aims to bring inclusivity and opportunity to cricket within Merseyside.

While the 2019 Cricket World Cup success still in the minds of many, the possibility of inspiring a new generation of Rake Laners is there to be taken. As Adam goes on to add, ‘We are privileged to be associated with a company such as Castore and I am personally very excited to see what the future holds – watch this space!’

Lawmed is proud to offer support and sponsorship to the local community and in this instance New Brighton CC, who from our experience share the same values and community spirit that complement the ethos of our company.

Lawmed is a privately owned company based in Walton on Thames. It was founded 21 years ago and we pride ourselves on our clinical knowledge and understanding of the challenges that face our healthcare system today.

We specialise in providing products to the NHS and Private Hospitals , specifically for "Laparoscopic Surgery", more commonly known as "keyhole surgery". We have a unique technology that allows the Surgeon to operate quicker, safely and more efficiently than other technologies currently used. During this Covid 19 crisis, our technology has allowed Surgeons to perform this type of surgery due to a unique gas filtering system that can filter out the virus which cuts the risk of contaminating all the Clinical staff working in the operating theatres.

Our strategic aim is to offer the patients "low impact" surgery using micro instrumentation along with our unique offering which is proven to lessen pain post operatively and enhance the recovery process of the patient. Over 130 NHS and Private Hospitals in the UK , including Arrowe Park, and Liverpool Women's use our technology in various "fields" of Surgery.

SNAP

Snap Sponsorship.jpeg

We're delighted to announce that we’ve now partnered with SNAP Sponsorship and we’re looking for sponsors who are excited about affiliating themselves with a large Merseyside grassroots cricket club with many players and supporters and a strong social media following.
We strive to craft a partnership with our sponsors that meets their specific objectives, whether that be community gifting, social responsibility (CSR), direct sales or brand building.

We’ll work with you to develop a partnership which meets both your objectives and adds value to NBCC's members — supporting our club’s ongoing work in the community to remove barriers and make sport enjoyable, accessible and sustainable for all.

Below are two of our current partnerships. Head over to Snap for further information.
